The Adult Education Program provides English language instruction to eligible limited-English-proficient individuals so that they can acquire the language skills necessary to become employable and self-sufficient as quickly as possible. Our teaching approach emphasizes contextualized instruction on job readiness and related vocabulary on health and safety, financial literacy, navigating the community, and food and shopping. Vocational trainings offered at Alliance include: AutoCAD, Child Development Associate, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Refugee Family Childcare. Distance education is also available for select trainings.
